Access & Accessibility
We aim to provide a welcoming and accessible environment for all our patients, whatever their individual needs. Our practice is located within a Victorian detached building and, while the interior has been extensively adapted and equipped with modern dental facilities, some limitations remain due to the age and structure of the building.
We are able to accommodate most wheelchair users. There is ramped access to the front entrance, although patients should be aware that the driveway is fairly steep and the entrance is relatively narrow.
Our ground-floor treatment rooms are accessible, and an accessible washroom is also available.
For patients who need to access the upper floor, there is an additional ramp to the rear of the building, providing an alternative accessible entrance.
Limited on-site parking may be available for patients with severe mobility difficulties. As spaces are very limited, this must be arranged in advance with Reception.
Additional public parking is available opposite the practice in the public car park, with further parking available at the nearby railway station.
Guide and assistance dogs are warmly welcomed at the practice, and an induction loop system is available at Reception for patients with hearing difficulties.
If you have any particular accessibility requirements or are unsure about access to the practice, please contact our Reception team before your appointment. We will be happy to discuss your needs and make appropriate arrangements wherever possible.
