Dear Patient

A big thank you to all our patients for the many kind messages of support and appreciation during this difficult time.

 

Thank you also to Blackwood Comprehensive School and to The Royal Mint for providing us with PPE and the ladies who have made scrubs and washing bags for us. We enjoy our role as part of our Newbridge Community, All of us at the practice hope you and your loved ones are safe and well.

We’ve written emails to all of your during the lockdown period and you will be aware that we have been open 6 days a week during this time. We have helped hundreds of patients from our practice from other practices and from helplines.

 

We are pleased to announce we can now take big steps to normality and will be able to carry out much of the treatments many of you have been patiently waiting for. We will be able to see many more of you face to face.

 

Our staff have been busy preparing our practice for the next steps. We have worked hard to ensure our practice is safe and conforms to all guidance.

You will notice some changes, we’ll look a bit different, with enhanced PPE and there’s some signage to help distancing. The main entrance process will be a bit different and we have dedicated exits. We’ve a screen around reception and hand sanitizer stations around the building. The magazines have gone but as we won’t keep you waiting, you won’t miss them. We are running with far fewer appointments, you will be seen on time and we ask that you arrive on time. We have installed anti virus filter machines to ensure the air within the building is clean.

 

Our building work is almost complete and our 4 new surgeries are ready to launch. Our equipment is state of the art and amongst the best in Wales.

We ask that you make all appointments by phone. You don’t need to worry about any of the changes, they are there to ensure your safety. We’ll explain them when you call and we will send you a clear email after making an appointment so you know what to do.
